Sphere in progress.

Spheres are created from clear casting resin with transparent pigments. Casting is performed in sequences of fractures with recastings of the Sphere till the desired sculpture is achieved.
The external sculpting of removed pieces or cut lenses invites the viewer to experience the Sphere from a different perception. The Spheres utilise light through transmitted colour which creates abstract shapes and multiple viewing angles. This all combines to form internal, intricate sculptures. The artist invites the observer to create their own opinion on what they see within the Sphere, how it affects them and what they perceive.
